Candle Tips
JAR CANDLES:
Straighten wick ~ trim wick to 1/4" ~ light ~ allow candle to burn and liquefy out to the full diameter of the container. IMPORTANT this is a very important step to candle burning, if you do not allow your candle to burn out the whole diameter of your container every time you burn it, the candle will never burn correctly. The larger the container the longer it will take to liquefy the whole way across, larger containers may take 8 or more hours. Repeat these steps each lighting.

PILLAR CANDLES:
Straighten wick ~ trim wick to 1/4" ~ light ~ allow candle to burn out to about 1/2" from the outside edge ~ blow out ~ allow candle to cool ~ light candle and repeat steps. With pillar candles, you want to keep an outside shell, this will prevent your candle from dripping down the side. As you burn your candle down you can fold in the shell a little each time you burn it, this will allow the candle to melt down completely. This is called "Hugging your Candle"

FLOATING CANDLES:
Floating candles float in plain water. To get best burn time out of floating candles, it is best to extinguish candle when the candle has burned out about 1/2 inch away from the outer diameter. Allow to cool and harden before re-lighting. Most of all do not let wick or top of candle get wet.

CAUTION : Never leave a candle burning unattended. Burn well out of reach of children or pets. The container will become hot. Make sure the candle is placed on a level suitable surface away from drafts and others sources of heat and any flammable materials. Be sure to remove any objects from the liquid pool before allowing candle to cool (such as - matches or wick droppings).
